Pioneer is Chosen as Recipient of the Birch Golf Classic Fundraiser
A HUGE thank you to Birch Equipment Rental & Sales and all the sponsors of the 2024 Birch Golf Classic for supporting Pioneer Human Services and Key Recovery and Life Skills Center. The generous supporters donated $328,013 to be split between Pioneer and Key Recovery!
The Birch Golf Classic raises funds for incredible non-profit organizations in a streamlined golf tournament that highlights community businesses, Trailblazers and organizations combine to support their community along the I-5 corridor. Sarah Rothenbuhler, owner of the nationally recognized equipment rental & sales company, Birch Equipment, teamed up with co-worker Jessie Everson and Board members: Jake Locker, Paul Twedt, Jay Julius and Sam Adkins to develop the Birch Golf Classic. Fully underwritten by Birch Equipment, 100% of the tournament proceeds go to the recipient organizations.
Connecting Business & Community
Designed to connect business and community, the Birch Golf Classic held each September in Bellingham, WA has donated to non-profit organizations helping transition the most vulnerable onto better pathways. The event also highlights Community Trailblazers in business, law enforcement, social services, professional athletes, education and local celebrities. The tournament is a diverse melting pot of community and business joining together to enjoy the day together and get some amazing work done.

2024 marks the Birch Golf Classic’s 10th year- and through joining forces with incredible businesses and community members, BGC has distributed over $2 million dollars to organizations helping to transition people off the streets and onto better pathways.
