Program details

The Spokane Regional Stabilization Center provides offers a safe and supportive environment for adults withdrawing from alcohol or drug use, those experiencing a mental health crisis, and those in need of inpatient treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

The program is a voluntary alternative for individuals to break the cycle of the criminal justice system’s revolving door as it provides an option to have criminal charges dropped if the program is completed.

Services

  • Safe Detox: Supervised support for withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs
  • Mental Health Crisis Support: Immediate assistance for those in crisis, such as thoughts of self harm, delusions or severe anxiety
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): Supportive medications such as Suboxone to aid recovery
  • Classes: Basic living skills, nutrition, health, recreation, anger management and recovery lifestyle
  • Group Support: Relapse behavior and prevention, coping skills, self-esteem and trauma survivor groups
  • Community Transition: Discharge preparation and planning, supportive employment and housing services
  • Peer Support 

Eligibility

Length of Treatment

Your length of stay will depend on your individual situation. Patients usually stay in detox and stabilization services for 3-7 days and may stay in inpatient treatment for 28-59 days based on needs.
