treatment: In-Jail at geiger corrections center
The Innovative Project at Geiger Correction Center and Spokane County Jail provide services for incarcerated individuals who intend to engage in substance use disorder treatment. Services include screening, assessment and referrals to community-based intensive inpatient services.
The Geiger Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is available to individuals who are incarcerated at Geiger Correction Center.
Services
Evidence-based curriculum includes:
- The Matrix Model provides a framework for engaging stimulant (e.g., methamphetamine and cocaine) abusers in treatment and helping them achieve abstinence.
- Seeking Safety is a present-focused coping skills model for clients with a history of trauma and/or substance abuse.
Who is eligible
Incarcerated individuals in the Spokane County Jail and at Geiger Corrections Center.
