Pioneer operates the HARPS (Housing and Recovery through Peer Support) program. The HARPS Program provides short-term (up to four months) bridge subsidies to assist individuals with costs associated with housing such as; application fees, deposits, move in costs or rent. This program can also provide peer support and supportive housing services.

HARPS eligibility is for individuals who experience behavioral health disorders (either a mental health disorder, substance use disorder – or both) and are experiencing housing instability. Priority is given to individuals who are discharging from: Psychiatric inpatient settings, substance abuse or co-occurring treatment inpatient facilities, or incarceration. HARPS enrollments are based on a bi-monthly lottery due to high demand. Please see HARPS application for instructions and information.

“I now have a new handle on life and will continue to better myself. I like being clean and having my own place. It has been over a year living in my apartment and I am signing a lease for another year. It has also been real a blessing to connect with my family again and spend time with my grandson.”
