Nikki’s Success Breeds Gratitude

We received a wonderful note from a former Pioneer Industries employee, Nikki Lohman (pictured), who is now the Production Planning and Control Manager at Cortland International. We celebrate Nikki’s success and miss her at Pioneer Industries. Read her heartfelt note below.

“I’ve thought about sending this several times over the years but never got around to it. The past few years have brought a lot of change and growth for me. Some easy and some really not so easy.

But regardless of the time or what’s happening in life one thing has always remained constant- Pioneer remains as my foundation to a successful life. Pioneer influenced ALL of the different aspects of my life that has led me to where I am today, and I’m extremely grateful for every bit of it, and I think about that often.

First of all – Manufacturing! Holy smokes! Pioneer should be extremely proud of their manufacturing processes, dedication to quality, employee training, growth, and everything in between. The 8 years I was with Pioneer (my first job ever and straight out of prison) I knew NOTHING!!!

Since leaving Pioneer and taking all the training and experience with me, I have worked at some pretty big companies. In every position and opportunity I’ve had during my career, Pioneer Industries taught me all the things that I needed to not only succeed, but excel in my career. So I felt strongly to share this back with you all. Hopefully my story can still shine some light and maybe hope on those who may be just starting their journey to their own new life and experiencing those really difficult challenges.

And, it wouldn’t feel right to leave out the continued impact Pioneer’s mission services had. Paid tuition, housing assistance, and most importantly the leadership. I had NEVER considered going back to school. I never even went to high school! But the leadership during my time there I influenced me in a meaningful way that brought me to where I am today. In fact, three of those people remain my mentors and closest friends. I didn’t have a family that I could be around but I grew an amazing one while there and you can’t put a price tag on that.

But anyway, I could go on and on forever about the success Pioneer brings if you trust the process and take what’s being offered. But my main reason for sharing was to highlight that Pioneer is a kick ass manufacturing company and should be extremely proud of the internal operations and manufacturing abilities. Some of the big name players can’t even come close to competing. ❤️

With all the love, Nikki – a continued “Pioneer Success Story.”
