how to access

The Pioneer Navigators (Recovery Navigator Program) in Spokane provide outreach and engagement services for those who come into contact with law enforcement and other first responders. Our Navigators are alerted and come out to visit the individual in need to offer referral sources and support with entry into treatment services to help the person avoid further interaction with the criminal justice system. The primary function of the Navigators is connection and stabilization. 

Services include:

  • Access to substance use disorder (SUD) assessments
  • Referral to SUD treatment programs including in-patient and outpatient
  • Coordination and referral to wrap around services from the community 
  • Long-term case management and support follow-up 
  • Uber rides to court program (transportation for court related appointments)
  • Recovery peer support

Who is eligible: 

  • Persons who intersect with law enforcement due to simple drug possession
  • Persons with frequent contact with the legal system due to unmet behavioral health needs.
  • Persons at-risk of arrest 
  • Those falling through gaps in existing services.
