king county diversion center
Overview
The King County Diversion Center in Seattle provides a safe setting for individuals to get sober and sleep so they do not end up in local hospitals and jails. The center is open 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM seven days a week.
Services
- Medically monitored diversion center
- Sleeping accommodations
- Referrals to substance use disorder and mental health assessment
- Referrals to counseling
- Intensive case management
- Help with housing, medical and social needs
Eligibility
Walk-ins are welcome. There is no application process. We also accept referrals from:
- 911 Dispatched vans (emergency service patrol)
- Hospitals
- Police
- Fire departments
- Family or friends
