Overview

The King County Diversion Center in Seattle provides a safe setting for individuals to get sober and sleep so they do not end up in local hospitals and jails. The center is open 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM seven days a week.

  • Medically monitored diversion center
  • Sleeping accommodations
  • Referrals to substance use disorder and mental health assessment
  • Referrals to counseling
  • Intensive case management
  • Help with housing, medical and social needs

Eligibility

Walk-ins are welcome. There is no application process. We also accept referrals from:

  • 911 Dispatched vans (emergency service patrol)
  • Hospitals
  • Police
  • Fire departments
  • Family or friends
