Program Overview:

Pioneer Reentry Entrepreneurship Program (P.R.E.P.) is an innovative initiative offered by Pioneer Human Services in partnership with Vault89 Ventures. This program is designed to empower formerly incarcerated individuals with the necessary skills and mindset to become successful entrepreneurs. Throughout the program, participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum focused on entrepreneurship development, market research, business planning and more. 
 

Program Objectives:

  • Equip formerly incarcerated individuals with essential entrepreneurial skills.

  • Foster an entrepreneurial mindset characterized by curiosity, adaptability, risk tolerance, resilience, persistence, and innovation.

  • Provide participants with the knowledge and tools to start and grow their own businesses successfully.

Student Criteria:

  • Formerly incarcerated individuals with a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to make a positive impact through innovative business ventures

  • Commitment to personal and professional growth

  • Openness to learning, collaboration, and self-improvement

  • Willingness to engage in a supportive and challenging environment to develop entrepreneurial skills

  • Follows clean and sober lifestyle

Graduation and Support:

Upon completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to Pioneer Human Services for support and further guidance. Ongoing coaching and support will be provided to ensure continuous development and success in the entrepreneurial journey.

Business ideas that exhibit potential for growth will be considered as possible investment opportunities. An assessment of your business will consider various factors such as market demand, competition, scalability, and overall market fit to determine the viability and attractiveness of business ideas to potential investors.
