Incarceration to New Ventures: Elevating Success Together (INVEST) was created to help justice-involved individuals become successful entrepreneurs. Through INVEST, you’ll learn the skills, mindset, and tools needed to start and grow your own business.
Who Can Join?
This program is for individuals who:
- Have been involved with the criminal justice system.
- Are passionate about starting a business.
- Want to make a positive impact through innovative ideas.
- Have stable housing or are living in a reentry facility.
- Are committed to personal and professional growth.
- Are open to learning, working with others, and self-improvement.
- Live a clean and sober lifestyle.
- Can attend in-person classes in Renton.
What to Expect
- Hands-on Learning: Gain practical knowledge and skills to launch and grow a business.
- Pitch Sessions: At the end of the class, you’ll present your business idea to a panel of business leaders for feedback and support.
- Ongoing Support: After graduation, you’ll receive coaching and resources to help you succeed in your entrepreneurial journey.
