Pioneer Transition House Celebrates Annual Garden Party

On Monday, March 16th the Pioneer Transition House celebrated their third annual BBQ & Garden Party in Mount Vernon, WA. Both community providers and past residents in the program were invited to the BBQ for a fun day of networking and partnership. There was an excellent turnout with Pioneer Human Services staff from the Skagit County Crisis Center, employees from Sunrise Services, and the local PACT team with Compass Health attending the event.
Approximately 95% of Pioneer Transition House’s residents have criminal histories, are enrolled in Mental Health Court or Drug Court, are on probation (local and state), are resolving current court issues, and/or suffering with chemical dependency or mental health related issues.
Pioneer’s mission is to deliver services and support to people with criminal histories and substance abuse issues. Our Pioneer Transition House team continues to provide intensive services to a struggling population. Many thanks to the staff and local partners for making this program a success!
