Pioneer Industries Earns International Environmental Certification

You are here

Pioneer Industries has Gone Green! We recently received the ISO 14001 certification, an international certification for environmental responsibility. Not only does it help minimize our impact on surrounding environments – such as the Duwamish River, which is in the midst of a significant EPA clean-up campaign right now – it also saves money by increasing efficiencies and reducing hazardous waste. In summary, Pioneer is helping to clean-up the environment in addition to saving money that can be funneled into our social mission.

To achieve this certification, Pioneer Industries’ production got smarter and environmental awareness increased in our three plants. Everyone jumped on board to create and execute our new sustainable business model. Pioneer’s management and employees are aware that this is an on-going commitment to a process improvement culture.

Pioneer Industries Environmental Policy:

Pioneer Industries, a manufacturer of aerospace and commercial products, is continually improving environmental processes and reducing environmental impact for customers and community through responsible business practices.

More information on ISO 14001:

ISO’s international family of standards related to environmental management exist to help organizations:

  •  Minimize how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e., cause adverse changes to air, water, or land)
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements
  • Continually improve on those processes

A special thanks to our employees who helped us obtain the certification!

Reduce waste. Reduce costs. Protect the environment.
