Pioneer Human Services owns two parcels at 1717 & 1723 Belmont Avenue on Capitol Hill in Seattle (approximately 10,000 sf total).
We are planning to develop a seven-story building with 90 units (89 studio units and one 1-bedroom manager’s unit) to include approximately 4,000 sf of community space, service personnel offices and building management offices. The project will be financed with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and some combination of public and private financing.
The development will serve a mix of low income residents with a portion of the project providing supportive services to justice-involved individuals. In the design, the building includes having offices for classroom, community and support services space, and the new facility will provide much-needed affordable housing in the city.
The project is expected to start construction in late summer 2019.
