How we are supporting our employees

We are fully committed to providing a safe, stable work environment for our employees. At Pioneer, we serve some of the most vulnerable people in our communities and they rely on us to provide safe, stable, high-quality services during this difficult time. We are only able to meet that need through the hard work and dedication of our employees.

  • We have been communicating regularly with employees across the state to keep them informed on emerging information, our response, and what they can each do to protect themselves, our clients and help prevent the spread of the virus.
  • We have sent people home if they come to work sick.
  • We have implemented a new leave program to ensure our employees don't lose pay or deplete their leave if they are directly impacted by this epidemic.
  • We have directed all employees who can work remotely to do so.
  • We have encouraged all employees to follow guidance regarding limiting close contact with others.

We can all do our part to help

Please take these steps to help prevent virus spread:

We also unite with King County's message on stopping discrimination caused by the virus:

"Misinformation about coronavirus can create fear and hostility that hurts people and makes it harder to keep everyone healthy. We’re stronger as a community when we stand together against discrimination."
