Pioneer Distribution Center Employees Appreciate Second Chance

You are here

The Pioneer Distribution Center (PDC) staff in Algona really rolled up their sleeves and worked as a team to move our 65K square foot warehouse to a brand new facility in Fife. The move started on Friday, April 28 and on Tuesday, May 2 they were completely moved in, and up and running! Watch a few of our employees HERE share their stories on the important role that employment played in their individual success after prison.

PDC receives parts and materials from Boeing and all 10 of the Community Manufacturing Partners (CMP) that manufacture for Boeing. Parts are stored, tracked, packaged and shipped based on Boeing’s needs for different airplane programs.

In total, PDC processed 16,115 orders and shipped 210,900 part numbers in 2016. The crew is constantly busy and working on tight deadlines to keep Boeing’s production lines on time and on budget.

Vicki Cleveland, PDC director stated, “The new facility is amazing and provides natural light with skylights in the main warehouse and windows in our breakroom. I’m so grateful to facilities and my staff for making this move seamless with no disruption in our production time. You rock!”
