"Not everybody is blessed with a family that is functional. For whatever reason, things happen, and people start to go down the path of antisocial behavior and get swept into the criminal justice system. I look out and see a lot of disparity, and it doesn’t sit well. I want to reach out any way I can to help change that. We want people who want to change their lives, but who want to be accountable. We have the tools. They do all the work."
