Celebrating Graduates Success

Pioneer hosted a graduation for students who have successfully completed our Roadmap to Success job readiness training program and Manufacturing Academy. We were very proud of all our students who perservered and graduated from the courses. For some individuals, this will be their first time interviewing and getting hired for employment.

We also really appreciated the  Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee, partner agencies and employers in the region who attended the graduation to support our graduates. It takes a community to provide individuals with a successful transition after incarceration!

Individuals in the 4-week Roadmap to Success program learn the needed skills to find and retain employment. The course focuses on overcoming barriers to employment through cognitive thinking transformation, soft-skills development, professional communication, conflict resolution, time management, job searching, targeted resume building, interviewing techniques, handling different management styles and computer skills. In the 10-week Manufacturing Academy, students learn the basics in manufacturing and safety to be better positioned for entry-level positions. The Academy uses an accredited curriculum sponsored by the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC) and all graduates receive the following certificates:

• Basic Manufacturing
• LEAN
• Forklift Driving
• Flagger
• OSHA/MSDS
• First Aid/CPR
