Book of Poems Written by Spruce Street Inn’s Youth in Crisis

Pioneer’s Spruce Street Inn, located in Seattle, provides services to “street youth”, chronic runaways, and commercially sexually exploited children. Read the emotional poems that children wrote that capture their feelings in this newly released book.

The poems and book were organized through a program that Arts Corps gives at Spruce Street Inn. Arts Corps unlocks the creative power of youth through arts education and community collaboration so that all young people have the courage to imagine and freedom to create a just and vibrant future.
